Le café restaurant
We will welcome you all day long for a drink or a gourmet break: local fruit juices, all kinds of beers (including beers from the VIF brewery in Ladoix-Serrigny), wines by the glass from Burgundy winemakers, homemade desserts, cheese or charcuterie platters…
And for meals, our home-cooked cuisine awaits you, prepared with local produce (from Côte d’Or and Saône-et-Loire) that is fresh, seasonal, and often organic…
If you wish, we will tell you where to find the fine products we serve, and which farmers’ markets to visit during your stay in the region.
Our café-restaurant in Arnay-le-Duc is also a place where locals and travelers alike can have a coffee, a glass of wine, or a meal. On the terrace or in the dining room, come enjoy a typically Burgundian setting with quality service.
Our dishes and desserts
We cook for you every day, according to our cook’s inspiration and the local produce we find. We serve lunch every day except Wednesdays and Thursdays (when we’re closed) and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings.
(PS: in July and August, we’re open every day for lunch and dinner!)
Ask us about the origin of our products. Whenever possible, all our vegetables, charcuterie, cheeses and meats come from local producers who use sustainable or organic farming methods.
Our fries are homemade with organic potatoes. Our dishes are inspired by traditional recipes.
In addition to the daily specials, every day we also offer vegetarian platters, vegetarian quiches, homemade pâtés, poached eggs “meurette” style (red wine sauce) or in an Époisses cheese sauce, charcuterie platters, homemade fries, escargots, cheese plates… and of course, a selection of homemade desserts (pies, cakes, creams, tiramisú, chocolate mousse, panacotta…)
We take special care in the preparation of our vegetarian platters, that are varied and whose
composition changes daily depending on what products are available through our producers
and the seasons.
Since 2012 we stand behind and defend the two following principles: “home cooking” and “local produce”.
